For the 15th edition, Karnival is keeping the pace as one of the nights with the best bookings in Montreal (Rupture, Kentaro, Kode9, Mungo’s Hi-Fi). Where would we be without The Goods & Karnival monthlies! For this one, Music Is My Sanctuary is teaming up with Poirier to bring you one of my favorite producers for just about 10 years: Russia’s DJ VADIM!

One look at Vadim’s discogs page and you realize how impressive his track record of quality and diversity truly is. One of the earliest stars of the Ninja Tune label (and one who introduced me to that sound), he also went on to record for other top notch labels as BBE. He is also the driving force behind groups like One Self and The Electric. He is definitely one of the handful of guys that widened my interest in leftfield beats.

Most importantly, on top of being a dope producer, Vadim is a really amazing DJ.
