After playing for the first time in Africa last month in Dakar (Sénégal) at the Black World Festival, i’m pleased to announce that I’ll soon DJ in Cape Town at The Assembly! It’s great because on the same bill there’s my friend Sibot with who I toured in France a couple years ago when he was doing his Playdoe project with Spoek Mathambo.

Just before the holidays I did a remix of Mohammed excellent track “Je sais pas”. Based in Montreal, Mohammed released a very good album in 2010 entitled “L’Ombre d’un doute” produced by Boogat (Boogat was nominated at l’ADISQ gala for best producer!). It’s an album rooted in slam/spoken word/poetry and the lyrics are so on point, same for Boogat’s music. I highly recommend you the album.
