Finally, after an extremely long delay due to a huge back log at the pressing plant, we have Ghisain Poirier’s ‘Go Ballistic’ 12″s at the distributors. This is the last single in support of his album No Ground Under. It has vocalist MC Zulu from Chicago doing a damn fine job hyping the party over some of Ghislain’s uptempo chops. The 12″ has remixes from Toddla T & Duckbeats, King Cannibal (newest school Ninja) and Tony-O. Please get this out to the shops and into the hands of party people and remember that we have worldwide rights to distribute this single so if you have overseas account please get this 12″ out to them.

Chris was enough lucky to have a chat with that guy named Jesus. And even touch is hand. That incredible moment happened in Martigny (Switzerland) just before we hit the stage. We brought the heat - Jesus heat - at Les Caves du Manoir, a nice venue with devoted peoples like Céline who makes that show possible !

The next day we drove in the mountain walls and decided to destroy a car on the side of the highway in France. It’s like that, we are that kind of people; doing tuff things to objects. Loic, our booker, didn’t want to participate. I don’t know why.

That night we played with our friend DJ Missill at l’Akwaba, a nice venue in a village in the Sud de la France. Fried eggplant is the best fuel to play a show. Not to forget, we played an impromptu basketball game at 2am inside the venue and totally killed the Akwaba team. I think they want a revenge so we might play there soon again.

The tour is going really well. Three dates done so far in France with the Jarring Effects crew : Lyon, Paris, Besançon. As usual, good wine, good cheese and good saucisson. The first highlight is that Obama went to our show in Lyon ! I told Chris to take a picture because nobody would believe us, thinking Obama was busy running for president in the US. That’s bullshit. Pure bullshit. Obama watched our whole show, dancing, jumping all around on our brand new soca anthems. We felt really proud of it. We felt part of the history.

Well, I wish we had TGV in North America because that’s thing is fast, quiet and smooth and it’s perfect for some power nap action.

Batofar is a nice boat venue in Paris. C’est une scène sur la Seine. Merci. We played there loud, well, we always play hard. But Chris think he’s maybe playing too hard. Breaking sticks on the first track. Are we a punk band or what. No. But we play big bass and big riddims and peoples enjoyed it, that’s it. That night we had a speacial guest, vocalist/rapper Mesh came to represent the Paris thing live. That dude is talented and totally killed it by doing something exclusive on the Blazin (Modeselektor Remix) track, respect !
On arrive.
Soyez prêts pour la basse.
